This was supposed to happen already last year: The U.S. debut of the Automation Engine Database Knowledge Workshop (DBKWS) The Automic World Conference took place in Scottsdale, AZ and I had everything prepared in cooperation with Automic – and then something happened and I had to cancel the workshop.
That’s why I’m even happier to announce that it finally will take place this year. And it will be the full dose: First the workshop, and then my presentation at the Conference.
In happy anticipation of Automic World 2016
Of course, Automic World is going to be something very special this year. Not just because of my participation. And not just because of the fantastic event venue.
Above all else, it’s about the new Version 12 of the Automation Engine. At Automic World in Berlin I was already able to see and experience some of it. And in September it is finally supposed to happen: Version 12 is released and finally brings us the new Web interface and, hopefully, also great reports and analyses.
The new version is guaranteed to also be the center of attention at Automic World U.S. What has already been realized? What can we hope for in the already announced updates?
The complete event program is not yet known, but I will keep you informed about that.

I will also make a presentation at the Conference. It will be about the opportunities and risks of working with the Automation Engine Database, with the emphasis on increasing the opportunities and, of course, minimizing the risks. Served alongside will be my secret recipe for Mousse au Chocolat and finally, appropriate for the location, Mickey Mouse will also make an appearance in my presentation.
The safe and controlled handling of the database takes much practice and good knowledge of the database fields and SQL.
