Christmas will probably be strange for many of us. For me, too, things will be a bit different from usual.
But one of my personal Christmas traditions, I’ll also keep this year: I will read some books.

by Daniel Kahnemann
This book is a classic of pop science literature. Nobel price winner Daniel Kahnemann explains, in entertaining and easy to read style, how our thinking works – and more importantly: when it doesn’t.
The Royal Game
by Stefan Zweig
My eight-year-old daughter just started to play some chess and is already close to beating me (which, to be fair, doesn’t say much). For me, this brought a nice opportunity to do a reread of The Royal Game, a great piece of literature, no matter if you know how to play chess.
Der Weihnachtshund
by Daniel Glattauer
There is no English Translation of this book yet. But if you speak German (or if you’re learning it) and want to have something with a little bit of Christmas Spirit, this is a great book to pick up!
